Claire Ketteler, Fiscal Agent for Claire for NH House
Hello Newbury and New London
I’ve been in Newbury since 1990 and raised two children who attended the Kearsarge Regional Schools. In the 1990’s, I was on the Newbury Conservation Commission. My husband, John Bowman, and I have six children between us.
I have been a Registered Nurse since 1999 working in various areas. I started a small nursing business in 2021. Nurses have been ranked as having the highest honesty and ethical standards of all ranked professions for 20 years in a row by Gallup. I am a new ham radio operator and longtime runner.
I believe that our government is out of control with spending and leftist policies. So therefore, I am not in favor of any new taxes – EVER. Taxes at all levels should be cut or capped or both, because we have not consented to all this spending. Claire Ketteler has signed “The No New Taxes Pledge” and is a member of GraniteStateTaxpayers.org.
I am in in favor of easing regulations at all town and state levels so that our local economies can grow.
Constitutional carry is the law of the land. I support the RIGHT TO LIFE, LIBERTY, and PROPERTY. I will work for freedom, opportunity, and prosperity in our community. I will fight to protect each of your liberties and freedoms, specifically the 39 rights spelled out in the New Hampshire Constitution. I am a member of the National Rifle Association and the NH Firearms Coalition.

One of my favorite clauses in the NH Constitution is:
NH Bill of Rights [Art.] 38. [Social Virtues Inculcated.] A frequent recurrence to the fundamental principles of the constitution, and a constant adherence to justice, moderation, temperance, industry, frugality, and all the social virtues, are indispensably necessary to preserve the blessings of liberty and good government; the people ought, therefore, to have a particular regard to all those principles in the choice of their officers and representatives, and they have a right to require of their lawgivers and magistrates, an exact and constant observance of them, in the formation and execution of the laws necessary for the good administration of government.
